Today I got the opportunity to help deliver some much needed meals along with Alicia Reece For Hamilton County Commission. We helped deliver extra "emergency" 14 day food boxes with Cincinnati Area Senior Services (CASS).
I was overwhelmed by the kindness of the people and workers we met today. It was a little emotional knowing some folks might only see us for the entire week until their next meals on wheels delivery.
If you can, sometime this week or next, reach out to the elderly in your community and check on them. A phone call a day goes a long way! We will all get through this.
