In February, 20 Non-Medical Home Care companies met for 1.5 hours to share ideas and information. 2 things were accomplished. 1) An excel spreadsheet was created so that information on different specialties, areas of coverage and contract information could easily be shared with social workers and referral sources. This tool is helpful when we get a call for a client who is not in our territory, we cannot staff, or seeks a specialty we cannot provide. We did not ask for any proprietary information. 2) We learned that the caregiver shortage has had a negative effect on our businesses and our wellbeing.
You are invited to attend the next summit in our quarterly series. For the April 20th summit, we will do some networking for the first 20 minutes or so, and then we have a speaker, Krista Powers. She is going to break us into groups and help us to find ways to better cope with the stresses of the employment shortage as well as brainstorm solutions. Our hope is that by 4:00 p.m., you will have a new lease on your career, new ideas to bring back to your team, and some new contacts that will increase your sphere of connections.
This event is for Non-Medical Home Care personnel only and seating is limited. If you have friends at non-medical home care companies, please invite them to join. The cost is $10 per person, and light refreshments, beer and wine are included. Please be prepared to pay with cash or check.

Orab, Sardinia and other places beyond Hamilton, Butler and Warren Counties.
