Understanding Medicare Resources and What is Available to Beneficiaries

Medicare can be confusing and unfortunately, the available resources for Medicare beneficiaries can be lost in the messaging. This presentation will focus on taking a deep dive into Medicare benefits, programs and the unused, possibly unknown, resources built into Medicare plans. We will also discuss the changes to Medicare plans and discuss what Medicare beneficiaries can expect to see in the future. This educational session will help you, your clients, your loved ones, and anyone you know take control of their healthcare and move forward with confidence. 

About the Presenter

Jenny Funk is a local insurance agent with 21 years of experience in the life and health market. Since 1999, she has worked as a Director of Operations of a CPA firm, an Individual Product Consultant with a local dental company and now has her own agency, J. Funk Medicare Shop, LLC to help people in Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee & Texas who are eligible for Medicare with choices that fit their specific needs by taking the confusion out of all things Medicare. She has been married to Jim for over 36 years and has 4-legged children – Ebony, a Cocker Spaniel and “Big Mama”, a Tennessee Walking Horse.  She loves to participate in horse shows, watch NFL football, play pickleball and euchre.
