Come join us at Evergreen Retirement Community as the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office will give a presentation on their Elder Justice unit, the issue of elder justice, and their new Elder Helpline.

This session will educate and provide an update of the work the Prosecutor's Office is doing to help bring to justice those who prey on seniors, as well as how they are making it easier for seniors to report suspected abuse and scams.

This is a one hour CEU for Ohio social workers and counselors.

Registration and networking: 9:30 - 10:00 AM
Event/Q&A: 10:00 - 11:00 AM

About the Presenter

Matthew Broo — Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, Elder Justice Unit

Matt has been a member of the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office for 17 years, working most recently as Chief Assistant Prosecutor of the Family Law Division where he supervised prosecutors working on behalf of Child Protective Services and Adult Protective Services. Prior to that, he spent over a decade as a criminal prosector, working in virtually every court in Hamilton County to prosecute some of the worst offenders in our community. Now, he works alongside other attorneys as part of the office’s all-new Elder Justice Unit.
